Well today is back to daily routine. I decided to start putting away the Christmas decorations today. I can't believe how much we have. It is really even more of a pain to have it all safely packed for the move to Pittsburgh. It will be nice to get the house back, but I will miss certain glimpses of Christmas. I love seeing the Christmas cards hung on the dining room wall, the nativity on the coffee table (pushed against the windows), the wreath on the door to the stairs, and of course the tree with the tiny white lights.
Becket slept through the night last night unexpectedly. I woke up to the alarm and asked Dan if he got up with Becket at all. Only to discover he was asleep in the swing still swinging with the music on. I guess we all just needed a full nights sleep.
Dan continues to work on the dishwasher. It looks nice, just not yet working. Maybe tomorrow after work.
I am dehydrating some apples, pears, oranges, and bananas - we shall see how they all taste tomorrow. A good sign is the the girls asked it they could have banana chips after dinner for dessert.
