On Sunday February 1st 2009, Becket George became an official Catholic. It was a wonderful day with lots of family. Thanks to everyone who made the trip up here. On Saturday night we had a great dinner with Mimi, Mami, Dad, Mari, Emma, Joe, Matt, Alina, Cristina (the Godmother), Erica, and Sean (the Godfather). It was nice for Mimi (and everyone else) to make the trip up to be a part of this for my family. Thanks to all of you. Becket was good sport through the whole thing and was just so happy to finally be a part of the Catholic church. He wore the same gown that Claire, Luci, and Carolyn (Dan and my goddaughter) wore for their baptism. Birdie Shannon got it for me - it has gotten lots of use!Sean, Barb, and Terry stayed Sunday night and watched the Super Bowl here. Jim was at the game cheering for Pittsburgh, Sean was here cheering for Arizona. (Pittsburgh pulled out a win in a very exciting game.)
