Kitchen

I made dinner tonight in my new kitchen. Barbara Anne gave us a spiral honey glazed ham. I made the glaze on the new stove top and then cooked the ham in the oven. Delicious and the oven worked well. The countertops look great. After all the sanding and repairs that were made, the inside of the cabinets were/are a mess. I started cleaning the cabinets out tonight which is a task. I am trying to pack up some things which I know I don't need. It will help the cabinets look bigger, leave less for me to pack later, and make some space for countertop items. Here is Dan with Chris installing the sink.

Becket did not sleep at all last night. He was fussy and really upset all night which made for minimal sleep for Dan and me. Unfortunately I woke up this morning to poop in Becket's bed - although he was feeling better after that and Claire told me she threw up this morning. What a way to start a day. Becket has been so fussy today, constant tears and screaming if he wasn't being held. Hopefully this will not be the case tomorrow. I have so much to get done. I have to get some rooms finished so I can move on. Becket's room is done and looks great. He has been doing a great job keeping it clean too :)

Carolyn (Barbara Anne's daughter) turned one over the weekend HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Her birthday party was a blast. It was a gymnastics one and Claire and Luci had so much fun. They wore leotards and just loved the activities. Jean, Gray, and Ayden came and visited and got to meet Becket. They had a good time visiting, the girls play well together. Cathy, Jonathan, and Samantha were at the birthday party and got to meet Becket too - it was great to have almost everyone meet him now. Pat's is the only one left to meet him.
Mimi turned 81 over the weekend - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! We were sad we couldn't make it to Aunt Anne's party, but thanks for the pictures.
