Becket tried his first bowl of food. He has been getting up in the middle of the night to feed for a few days now. Since he is past 4 months we are giving rice cereal a whirl. Unfortunately he is battling a cold and that may be the reason for the sleepless nights, but we shall see how tonight goes. He was much more coordinated than I remember the girls. He LOVED the food and got most of it in his mouth and didn't spit out too much. It seemed as though he thought the food came from his hand. He kept pulling my hand toward his mouth. He manage to get his hand in his mouth after having some cereal and sucked it so intensely in an attempt to get food from it - no such luck. He is much better at getting his hands in his mouth consistently now :)
Both Claire and Luci fed Becket a spoonful. As to be expected he gagged like crazy, but they really enjoyed being a part of things. Claire was in change of the camera and Luci was in charge of the birp cloth. Both did a great job. Claire took the first 4 pictures; she really has a talent.
